Hey guys,

As you may have known I won probably the tightest election but it wasn't the biggest turnout in voters. So I would first like to see if I can get the community a little more involved. Not exactly sure how I am going to do it, but I am hopefully going to try out a few things to see what I can do.

But on the offsite forum we have 93 registered users but only 31 people have even checked it out in the last month and a few of those people have either have a single post or no posts at all. Now I would love to open up tactics and roster spots to the community a little more and see if we can get some serious discussions going on the offsite forum. I am going to post the skills for the players on the current team and hoping to start getting the skills of some up and comers (with their permission) available for everyone to see. Then we can see the gap between current and future stars of the NT.

Secondly, I'd like to open the floor to some people to have more of a say on the tactics we run. I'd like to get a thread going before each game and really get some thoughts on what anyone has to say. Certain players or tactics you want to see? Give us a good reason to use it and see if we can get everyone on the same page.

Thirdly, I'd like everyone to know that they can shoot me a message about anything. Advice on training certain players, where they rank versus other Canadians, help with their team, their homework, I will get back to you as soon as I can. No matter the question I will do my best to help you anyway I can.

Lastly, I would love it if anyone wanted to volunteer their time to help out. People can help out with tactics and key players of opponents, keeping the community aware of key Canadians for sale, scouting the skills of players on the TL we play, running contests, doing interviews, volunteering to mentor, answering questions in the chatroom, etc PLEASE LET ME KNOW! I would love to get a bit of a support system and will take the help of any Canadian in any way they would want to help.

To Do List:

Finish scouting the 22+ year old players.
Contact managers about current training plans.
Finalize the roster.
Post updated skills on the offsite forum.
Create a depth chart on the offsite forum.
Kick some ass.

I expect everything but the ass kicking to be done this weekend, probably Sunday night. The first ass kicking will be on Monday when we take on Guatemala.

Congrats Greerzilla!!

You are certainly a worthy manager and will do a great job. Sounds like you have things well under control and have a great direction for the team and the community. With that said I am happy to help if you wish, just let me know what I can do.

Cheers and lets kick ass Canada!!

Good call on getting the community more active.

Easier said than done though.

One reason why I think there was a lower than normal turnout is that it was absolutely impossible to follow the debate thread. What a mess that was. Jokes are one thing, but it just got in the way and if I didn't already know something about the candidates involved I wouldn't have even bothered this season. I can't imagine how it looked to new players.

What a mess that was. Jokes are one thing,

If I did something illegal, I hope you report it and that some GM bans me from the forums. Because I really can't stand people who break the rules in BB. Even though I personally think this game is a joke sometimes, rules are rules.

Otherwise, stop taking things so seriously. And if people can't bother to figure out which candidates are joke candidates or actually ask real questions of the candidates that's not my fault or anyone else's. At least one candidate was begging for a debate with some substance and the jokes had stopped a long time before that.

It is up to the candidates to engage the voters. Did they show up in the game chat to try and talk to people in division III and lower? Did they get on the off-site forum to say how they would run the team next season? What did they do exactly to merit a vote?

And personally I think the issue here is you had four solid candidates. All of them would have done a great job. So people probably just felt that there was no point in voting because there was no clear "winner" candidate.
