Really I should be playing in a relegation match making a profit...


I thought you would have tanked it tonight to play the relegation match. that would be more profitable.

I think he would not have wanted to let Maggots stay up if he's tanking. If only I'd lost a few more games and finished 7th :P

I wish you could say that to my face so I could throw a large sum of money in front of you to bet against that claim... There is no way (as painful as it is to say) that you will beat meateors. He will play normal and beat you. You have half the enthusiasm you had against me and your star player has terrible gameshape. You have given it to him on a platter... Except cowboys still has an easier match thanks to him throwing a match so he has done himself over as well.

hahaha, yeh poor Maggot! I prefer to keep him around. sorry to sound like a coward but sometimes free kill can be fun to watch LOL last time Duffman got a triple doubles against aussie battlers and is the only TD he got in his whole career.

Your plan has dependencies which based on something that was out of your control. So I thought tanking it is within your control lol.

Based on your theory meateors was intimidated to tank. I guess I should feel honoured that teams feel the need to throw games to keep me out of the playoffs... My goal 4 games ago was to see if I could TIE and win every game I had left which would relegate a tanker. Mission accomplished. Playoffs was always a long shot but I didn't miss out by any fault of my own. I could have thrown a game to help my mentor from relegating but threw in my best team out of respect for not manipulating results. In the end it doesn't matter because he will get through easily but it wouldn't have been left to chance like my playoff run was... Luckily he wasn't relying on a rat to win! ;)

don't put words into my mouth, I didn't say he was intimidated. If you really wanted more income, your best chance was to play the relegation series and not try for a playoff which depending on Meteor to win his match. Why do you think he's intimidated by you? He could be just preparing for the play off. he's 4 games behind me so winning or losing do not effect him for the play off. As a normal thing, it's best to save your starting players' minutes and enthusiasm for play off! Maybe you did not consider that into your plan?
