Hang on a minute, it sounds like you might agree that I managed my last game to get a result I wanted.
You played the same team minus one key player and almost won. You did manage to get the result you wanted, but gave him ultimate control should he wanted to tank also. So yes, you got the result you wanted due to him not wanting that result for himself... Well done!
