How can I see the stats from season 8 in a league that's not my own?

BBStats Update:

- Anyone interested in helping out with BBStats? I could do with a hand. Basic PHP, HTML, SQL, CSS and Javascript skills are needed.
- I plan to introduce some nice new features with JQuery soon

---

@giona
I will add that as soon as possible

@Einpeitscher
This simple update seems to have sparked quite a bit of response.
- NT Membership - does not exist in the BBAPI information at the moment
- Standard deviation and maybe a top 3 player salary totals will do this?
Sorting function never got touched. But it only shows up when the site has finished loading.

@somdetsfinest
The country and world pages could do with some fleshing out. I will add it to the suggestions.

@Amarestars
When you browse to the page from the country page. In the address it should say "season=9" just change that to "season=8"

Now that we have salaries for each team, maybe you could make it show how much each team made from attendance in there last home league game.

Ok we have a few more columns in the Salaries area now.

Please if you have any more suggestions please feel free to post them here.

One thing I realise needs doing is the stats split up into different areas so it is more manageable. If you have any suggestions in this department please tell me.

I don't want my gate receipts posted, thanks.

Once I scored a basket that still makes me laugh.

Standard deviation and maybe a top 3 player salary totals will do this?

I am not sure whether std dev is a good idea. Some great teams have 3 or 4 players to fill up the team for scrimmage games or because they collect players with less than a 1000 dollars salary.

What about that:

Salary characteristics of a team:

Top earner
Top 5
top 10
Average

For both you could give the value in dollars and the rank in the ligue

The same could be applied to the Salary characteristics of a ligue (here is the competition for TV contracts)

Great job so far!

Is there any reason why you have not included the BBstat that measures the total value of a team's inside and outside offense, inside and outside defense, rebounding and offensive flow from each game? Using atrocious (low) as a value of one and each subsequent subvalue worth one more value (thus pitiful (high) has a value of six - and the total BBstats for my team in my last game would be 122 (13057845)). I know that this is a common statistic calculated by many managers to roughly estimate opponent strength, and it would be very useful to be able to review past values for an opponent easily.

How is this different from the salary information.
It is information that is available to anyone but bbstats would just make it easier to calculate.

The main reason is that there is no match information in BB-Stats at the moment.

I think I have a function to import it but I don't have any pages the require it yet.

There is no real reason apart from I haven't had the time to implement it. I am doing all of this on my own and any BIG tasks like the match analysis stuff I can't really start in my spare time.

I will hopefully have a bit more time and structure since I have started a testing regime and have a bit more of a system in place to go through any major changes before they are released. Before I was making changes to the live website and then fixing any bugs on the fly. That won't work when I do big changes.

I hate the fact that everyone can see your arena stats. So I hate your idea. But I suppose it's just making the attainable easier.
