It only takes a few mins to download and install firefox if you really want to get your draft set now. Chances are, you'll not go back to IE after that anyways.

Just waiting for it to hit the servers, it'll take a minute or two.

.. it should be fixed now and should work in IE.

OK .. I have a question .. I'd like some help .. as strange as it may sound :-)

I've got info on about 2/3s of the draft picks, after investing in 2 scouts through the season. A bunch have come up empty, obviously. What do people do with these ?

Should I stick them at the end of the list or spread them around and hope for some luck ?

I put all my 5s and 4s at the top, then sprinkled the random ones between the 3s, 2s, and left all the 1s at the bottom.

I'm pretty much with BadLarry, with a minor difference. I put the 5's and 4's at the top, then 3's, then the guys I know nothing about, then the 2's and 1's on the bottom.

I have a question or two for you in return, Oxidus. Since there are 14 computer-managed teams in my division, how do they make their draft selections? Are they completely random? Or do computer teams somehow "use" the draft points their previous human owners may have allotted?

I've only got one 1, a couple of 2s and a disproportionate amount of 4s which leads me to believe that most of the unknowns are useless. But I've got a pretty bad pick, so I'm fairly likely to get one of them anyway if I stick them at the bottom. Most of what I know are free throw guys, which I don't really want ...

hmm .. The sprinkle method sounds tempting.

The draft list for each team in a division is different, it's jumbled so managers don't compare notes with their friends. As far as I know, the bots pick in the order their list is presented to them.

Bots and unattended teams do exactly that (pick in the random order that is presented to them)

For the players that I have got no scouting information on I put after my 4 star players as I have a 3/5 chance they will be 3 or above.

I've a similar order, except I didn't exactly know why I did it that way.

Yeah i did the same too.

I figure a 3 star player is pretty average so why not gamble for the 5 star in amongst those unknowns!

Your 3/5 chance assumes that the players are equally distributed between 1-5. Is this what is actually observed in reality?
