I think the biggest key to the injury discussion is that it is NOT FUN - for anyone. Sure it adds a random/somewhat realistic element to the game, but it adds zero enjoyment to the game for anyone.

Even if my biggest competitors suffered terrible injuries to their star players, it wouldn't add any "fun" to the game for me. I'd rather beat them with their best players.


For a game that needs to make itself as attractive and fun as possible to get new users, I don't understand why Buzzerbeater keeps these non-fun elements in the game.

The same can be said of stamina - but I guess that is for another thread.

I don't know if this can be an huge problem but without changing completely the injury sistem, for the moment a solution could be to became the doctor more important, reducing the days injuried in % with his level. Lvl 1 nothing will change, lvl 10 you can save 2 or 3 weeks for example. 2 or 3 weeks in this game are a lot of time, anyway the managers could decide if spend money to assume a doctor or to leave the player dying

Is the problem that the doctors are:

1. too weak (doesn't prevent enough injury/help healing)
2. too expensive -- might help some, but isn't work 20k-25k/week for a level 10 doctor.
