How much do you guys spend on BB per day? :)

to much, but you don't have to work that much as a GM and i was Mod before which was pretty easy in the german board.

There are some things i agree with about the day trading and others i dont. First, if you are willing to buy an 18YO and risk your chances to trade him for a little bit of money then that is the coaches decision. Not only will this benefit your team with a little bit of money but it can help the market out as well. Buying and selling players are the only way to get the economy up in this game. And if players can buy a player for a lot of money, such as when a day trader sells a guy for 3Mil, then that shows that the economy is getting better. I dont agree witht eh renting of players to win games because that is kinda cheap, but being a day trader only helps you with money. Now with that money you can buy players fro your team to win, but you arnt buying them necessarily to sell them so it isn't really harming anybody.

So you just don't like the idea of it?

The two things that I hate with this game is Day Trading and Renting Players...They fixed the renting players for the BB3 but should have extended it to Cup tournaments too. Just look at the Japan Cup...Sharman went out last week and spent close to 20 million on players. He will sell next week with out a care in the world( losing some cash due to the taxes). I wouldn't doubt that Sharman already has buyers lined up. Now he has a 1.1 million dollar roster in Div.2....
First...They need to freeze rosters from the 64 on...That would mean that he would have to pay those salaries for 4 weeks if this system was in place...
Second....Have to keep players for 3 economic updates...That would put an end to Day Trading and renting players.
It isn't like I would be telling other managers to day trade.

You don't have to...What's the old saying? "Actions speak louder than words",

Just because you personally don't like day trading and renting players isn't a good reason to say someone shouldn't be a GM if they do either of those things. It's like if I said I don't like training and because you train you shouldn't be a GM.

I hope this statement was a joke...The only way players can get better is through training. If there were no training we would have a bunch of teams full of Respectables and average on their players. In fact you wouldn't be able to Day trade if there were no Training. Training is such an important part of the game..You play players to get them minutes so they can improve on the next Friday. You shouldn't even put Training in the same sentence as Day Trading. In fact training players and having your team get better through training is how this game was meant to be played. If the makers of the game thought day trading was the right way to play the game they wouldn't have put the tax in place to punish the act of flipping players. I would much rather have a GM that builds his team through training then one who trys the get rich quick scheme that day trading is. In fact, wasn't it you who was bragging on another thread about wanting the longest Tranfer history in BB...Come on...You, GM material...I don't think so...
