I guess that is one thing I will do different...when the real games are done..so are the 21's.
Agreed. I think Wolph is one of the only managers I've seen playing his 21yo guys post finishing the games.

I guess some people have different opinions...I happen to agree with you. I think motivation is a big factor for training, and seeing the top 20's in the class get game time before the new season(which is WC groups) is a great way to motivate the owners of those players.

I seriously doubt that you will rise even 2 spots off scrimmages....In fact, if scrimmages were such a big deal than why not scrimmage weak teams to get wins? I kind of understand where you're coming from with your post but they are scrimmages and I seriously doubt a team is going to fall or rise up rankings due to them.

Scrimmages can have a significant impact on team ranking if you win games against the right teams. Look at the offseason right befor Wolph took over. Our ranking moved from 66 in the final game of season 17 to 53 in the first game of season 18. During that stretch I had dropped all the 21s and targeted games against teams that were close to us in ranking and had also dropped the 21s. If they had any 21 on the team I wouldn't play them. We won almost all the games and as a result we moved up alot.
My suggestion is to always follow this approach.

I wouldn't say that I am lacking knowledge..I just didn't think this game was that stupid..If this is the case, than why not keep all the 21's. Why do teams drop 21's in the first place? If scrimmages really have as much impact as you say, than the system is screwed up. Scrimmages are for testing new tactics and new players. I might just take my name out of the hat if I have to run LI and 21's until the end of season update. This has to be the stupidest thing I have ever heard.

Here is a good question.....when I was U-21 and Swoosh was NT coach...we would scrimmage...how can a game between the NT and U-21 be counted against the rankings?
