---------- ROUND 2 ----------

Whompas Donkeys ------------- 28 19 35 24 106
Los Coolfreakz El'Ninios -----------9 10 18 7 ----- 44

CFK with their highest EVER rating in perimeter defence, got told by advisers post-game that perimeter defence, while important, won't win games.

3 Points - Ignacio Santana (WHO) "A walk in the park for the boys," Ignacio was heard commenting after the game. Oh! The arrogance!!! 17 rebounds (more than half -10- of them being offensive), 1 assist, 3 blocks and 19 points off 9-19 shooting (he almost missed the 3 due to this).

2 Points - Vassos Filoglos (WHO) Vassos was much more humble than Ignacio. He spoke at length with the other team about their direction, what they wanted to achieve. They were seen exchanging numbers and.. winks? Weird.. How nice he was after the game was certainly not reflective of how he treated them during the game. Great defensive effort. 6 rebounds, 5 steals, 2 blocks and 19 points with a respectable 8-15 from the floor and 3-6 from downtown.

1 Point - Medartas Tvarijanavicius (WHO) You know what? I pronounced his name and I got it right. Prove I didn't. Voila. 14 boards (7 offensive), 1 block and 23 points with a solid 11-17 fgs just get Tvarijanavicius over the edge for one MVP point.

Blame the GE, not me! I'm just issuing points to the most impressive statistics.

imagine that JW Bulls swimming with the Calamari!! that would've been a strange feeling... hahahaha
though i'm sure the CFKs will be better off with you guys and mentoring him, there would probably be too many trust issues with me being a Calamari! ;)
HAX - great writeup!

---------- ROUND 2 ----------

Brisbane Thunder ---------- 6 11 16 14 47
Home Axis ---------------- 26 30 27 19 102

Leeroy, didn't you hear! Axis hates walkovers! (196319) Wait, my bad, it wasn't a walkover... *crosses fingers that The Thunder don't someday smash him*

3 Points - Thomas Friedrich Mayriedl (HAX) Married to getting good results, except for in the following week's games... This game, though, another massive performance. 18 boards (6 2nd opportunities), 3 steals, 3 blocks and thoroughly sexy 36 points (17-25). Another 3 points in the bag for the bachelor.

2 Points - Leon Boise (HAX) Lean on me boys. That's what she said. 7 boards, 5 assists, 3-5 shooting for 6 points makes him look ok, but having his opposite position miss 29-38 fgs and 10-11 from downtown puts the signature on paper for two points.

1 Point - Dejan Kuljović (HAX) It wasn't until I noticed his opposition that this became an easy pick. 9 boards, 2 assists, 1 block and 11 points (50fg%) is as good as the others, but holding his opponent to 6 shots and making him miss 5, as well as hypnotising him to give up 5 fouls hands him a narrow edge.

---------- ROUND 2 ----------

JW City Bulls ------- 20 26 23 26 95
UWA Panthers -------- 20 19 19 19 77

Jumping back in time. I watched Back to the Future last night. Anyone see it? Trip down memory lane eh?

3 Points - Artemiy Dayneko (JW) Artemiy claims to be one of the only players in BB who look "normal". He doesn't like it. He would prefer to be an egg head like Yoda's Dexter... Stunning game for Fowl, though. 17 boards, 3 assists, 1 block and a quality 30 points from 13-19 fgs. Had his opposite cough the ball up 4 times, too. Naice!

2 Points - Joel Vulcan (JW) Yet another Aussie in the mix. Aussie aussie aussie!! Oi oi oi! 5 boards, 5 assists and 4 steals. Add 5-11 shooting for 10 points and what do you get? Chicken. And two MVP points.

1 Point - Helvijs Reidemanis (JW) It might look like a favour the JW players (like an NRL video ref favours Manly), but I don't. They're just better. Manly isn't. They're shite. Helvijs isn't shite. He's cool. We're friends. He shoots well. 10-11 tonight for 25 points. 14 boards, 1 assist and 1 block round out a highly efficient performance.

Haha cool write-ups Axis, and thanks for at lease trying to find a point for one of my players ;)

@ abigfishy, I was just as suprised as you. I don't remember bribing yoda on draft night??

@ Jw, ahaha thanks mate. My cool freaky kids... No no "Los Coolfreaks El'Ninios" will grow up and be much better one
day and make up for all the losses the Calamari are gaining because of me. Mark my words, you're all going down!! (in a couple seasons time)

---------- ROUND 2 ----------

Gisborne Gladiators ------- 38 24 20 29 111
The Winnerz -------------- 32 28 32 29 121

The Winnerz chose lozer tactics but were still the dominant power in this game. I'm sure that'll change someday, though.

3 Points - Mihály Paizs (WIN) Probably the most difficult 3 points I've given away so far. 4 TOs.... Not cool. I'm sure the coach was a little more red-faced after each one.. However, 15-20 fgs for 32 points? That put a smile on coach's face! Then there's the 7 offensive rebounds, which is pretty... just pretty. And, second last, there's the +16 when he was on the floor, higher than any other player that game. However, no one can go past his quiff. That shit be real.

2 Points - Garrie Addison (GIS) The Adder. Not the Black Adder, the Gay Adder. Nah, juss jokes. Pretty effective player for the price, that's for sure. Pretty massive 41 points from 19-29 fgs, not bad. Add in 6 assists, 2 steals and 2 rebounds. The Adder strikes again.

1 Point - José María Viñas (WIN) I now know that The Winnerz are spending a good portion of their salaries not on charity but hairstyles. The Winnerz are a sexy bunch, that's for sure! And did you know that Viñas will play anywhere? Beach? Mountain? Snow? Space? Yup, anywhere! 14 rebounds, 3 assists, 0 turnovers (unlike the above), 1 block and 24 points.
