If Lebron had 40+ shots against the Raptors (that Raptor team, current Raptor team, or almost any Raptor team) he would score a good bundle of points for sure. But what's the point? A win is a win.

If you remember me, then I don't care if everyone else forgets.

Exactly, if a win is a win why are we comparing these two?

5 Rings to 1 Ring. 6 Rings to 5 Rings.

MJ > Kobe > Lebron.

I'll just say this: Kobe had Shaq and others around him to help him win his championship. When Lebron was in Cleveland, he didn't have the team around him that could win a championship. Not necessarily saying that Kobe is better, but I'm not saying he isn't either.

Very true. But neither Jordan or Kobe ever had as much talent around them as Lebron does at Miami now. I mean, them not winning (or at least getting to the finals) every championship until some sort of power shift means they've underperformed badly in the postseason. It's pretty ridiculous what he has now.

Hondo Havlicek > Robert Horry > MJ. Though in this case it's Bill Russell's world and everyone else can suck it.

The +1 is from me, as not many people remember my "uncle" John anymore.

Who balled this?

This is absolutely ridiculous. Both Jordan and Kobe, had the 2nd best player in the league on their team, at the time. In Kobe's case, he WAS the 2nd best player. sheesh. You guys just love rewriting history. Jordan's team was awesome, that even when he went on his hiatus, they still won 55 games, without him. Yeah the NBA must have been really soft those years, if you could remove Jordan from a team, and they still win 55 games.

Jordan maybe(Pippen is tough to judge), but Kobe most certainly did not have the 2nd best player in the league for his last two(especially since most would agree Lebron was the best player in the league at the time).

Since this argument is ridiculous and i'm losing my cup game i'm gonna prove why lebron is the superior player now.

offensive stats:

kobe: per/23 ts:57% eff:25.35 +/- : 1.9

lebron james: per/31 ts: 63% eff: 32.15 +/-: 8

ps: i won't even get into defensive metrics, i dislike kobe, but i don't hate the guy

I'm going to assume this wasn't really in response to me, because it makes little to no sense in response to my last post. The point of it was that Jordan's teams(at least the 2nd threepeat) were easily the best team in the league, as were Kobe's first 3(Portland had quite a team season 1). Just like the Heat have clearly had the best team for the past two seasons.

And Kobe's 4th and 5th were not obviously superior to all of the other teams in the leagues.

Lebron is at this point easily a better player than Kobe and has been for some time(he's also currently better than peak Kobe). But better player=/=greater player

You're assuming right. as far as comparing the greater player, i would think you should wait until lebron ends his career to judge him on that end. The dude is 28, easily he has 5 more years, with 3 or 4 top level.
