You can always make a higher than usual bid before you go to bed.
It costs a little more, but then you don't have to interrupt your sleep, and you very well may win the auction.

Many managers can't run the risk of not winning an auction of a certain player. Plus, with the way the market is right now, managers want to make use of every penny. It's not like each team's got 50 million and they can just overbid before going to sleep.

You know with all the overbids, I'm even afraid that I'm gonna be reported as a cheater as a overbider

That's a very good point. I've felt like I've overbid on players in the last three months. It must be very difficult for the GMs to guage what exactly is an overbid as prices rise, also making outright cheating more difficult to spot.

I've wondered about that, too, seeing some of these players go for huge amounts over their suggested range.
Fortunately, I've been able to buy my most recent acquisitions within their published range, but that also means I haven't experienced the risk of being seen as an overbidder, so I'm not sure what happens there.

Thing is, if it is a bidding war that takes a player to 2X (or even 5X) the top of their suggested value range, that seems like it's due to two or more teams duking it out to add a player they deem valuable to their team, and not something sketchy. Unless it is just a very elaborate ruse, which I doubt.
