Anyone else have their merch and TV money jump through the roof? My merch income is the highest it's been in months, and I'm getting over 80k in TV money.

Is everyone getting this kind of cash?

My merch is the same as before, but I did not have any home games. I have two this week, so I'm hoping for a bit of a boost.

The 80k is our league-we should see how it compares with the other Div IIs.

It will be interesting to see how many teams tank today ahead of the Cup game...

I expect to get blown out...

I tank every match, or almost every match. Never met a "take it easy" I didn't like.

In d2.II, they make $ 81 507 each. Ours is 81,7--, I think right. It means we have more sway with the TV people, we've got more talent.

Nice work all...

3 of 5 advanced - definitely shows the strength of our league.

Phoenix pulled the toughest draw in the Bulls. However, the combo of Engel and Aumayr can have their nights - especially when they aren't in foul trouble. I know I would consider a CT...

SBCT will have a tough game, but they have a definite inside advantage and just need to keep the other team guards contained.

I match up well with Phi Slamma Jamma and have home court advantage. Of course, I have a tough league schedule with Postal and Red Vipers this week...

I've never been in the Cup anywhere this long. It really does force you to make choices on minutes and which game(s) you want to be competitive. Game shape is rough - I had a big hit because I did not realize there could be two Cup games during the All-Star week. Managing the minutes differently also impacted the player stats, since they play fewer league minutes. I did not have a shooter in the 3pt competition for the first time, which is odd since I tend to enjoy an outside offense and heaving up the 3s.

Good win mate.
I didn't realize my SF would be sold the day of our game and I had another one purchased but he wasn't put into the lineup because I didn't realize i would need too.. and some how my starting SF was injured 4 mins in so a scrub who never plays and sucks real bad was put at SF........
which SEVERELY hurt me haha.
but nice win.
I'll get you next cup season ;)
good luck against Phi Slama Jama. He just pulled out a close win against my cousin.

Ah, the old sell the guy on game day trick.

I saw the Machines pull off a good one for Timoranský a couple days ago - $2.5M and threw in a free 2 week injury!

The Bolivian Man-Mountain did drop a boulder on poor Gonzalo Urquijo. I'm glad he was not hurt past the game. Rogers provided a noble effort for his 4.0 SF rating.
The injury was important - I honestly thought you had TIEd since the lead was so big.

Unless I'm mistaken, Timoranský should be healed up by Sunday.

Well i hadn't realized when I placed him on the TL that he was going off on game day..
Until a day after game day, which was today. lol.
But its alright, I got a 2k less paid player who has better JS/JR same D and slightly less handling/passing and he's trainable for when i retrain my guards.
And I earned 400k off it.
So i'll live I think.

And I'm not sure what the Machines were doing getting rid of a monster and replacing him with a much weaker center.. unless he just wanted to make a little money off him and replace his salary with a much lower one..

I was scared when i found out he was injured! I thought "if i just lost both sfs in this one game... im gonna be pissed"
Rogers is a junk reserve center I have had since I created this team, he played hard when the rest of my inside game was about his skill level haha but now he's too old. He might retire soon. Along with his 4.0 rating.

In previous seasons this is the part where I point out that it's a terrible idea for Phoenix to CT our cup game, unless you are one of his series mates who gets to face enthusiasm-deprived Phoenix for the next five games.

I would point out that Phoenix still has a good shot at the #2 seed, and would put himself in the drivers seat for the #5 seed (missing the playoffs) with a CT.

I would also point out that I will put out my strongest team, I am at home, and I am basically throwing everything at the Cup this season.

See in previous seasons, I would point all this out - basically make an excellent case why the opponent should not CT ---- and I would still get Crunch Timed.

So this season I will just stay quiet. ;)
