Since he's only 22 why not pump his secondaries even more. Two more secondary skills seasons, and you cap him out during ages of 25 and 26?
And how about experimenting and training him in SB until it reaches 14/14 in ID/SB? He wouldn't be that good in IS, but he can do it all on offense anyway, pass, shoot, drive

3 pops to the front end, 4-5 being the most likely.
Secondaries would still be relatively inexpensive. Getting OD/PA up 2 each (HA up 1 because of it) and then working on IS/ID/REB would still bring you just a bit into the front end of his cap.

So I'm in a pickle. I'm trying to train Clark Pearson to make the U21 NT in anyway. I'm not sure if I can train to make it as a guard like I want him too but as a SF I might have shot because of his height. I don't know any input would be nice. At least I can some kind of direction for when he hits 20. But this is my best trainee right now.

There is a chance but you'd have to train his inside shot and rebounding quite a bit.

He is only 18 years old and im trying to train him for the U21 team. I'm alternating Driving, Passing and Handling so far and sometimes OD, JS and JR. What skills should i focus more first and am i doing it right?

Definitely train him as a guard if you want him on the U21 team. He will never land a SF spot with atrocious inside shot and pitiful rebounding. As for how to train him. I would keep jacking up the OD and passing because they are usually the most important to U21 NT coaches. After that just train 1v1 for guards.

I'm sorry but that is bad advice. PFs should not be 6'5" players with atrocious inside shooting skills and pitiful rebounding skills. If you want him to make a good SF/PF then he has a better chance going on the TL and simply finding another trainee that has better all around skills. There is nothing wrong with training a tall PG. obviously he won't train as fast as other PGs who are 6'2" or shorter but if he tries to make this player anything except a guard, he would be pretty silly.

Don't worry. I have 2 PG trainees that are 6'8". Slow and steady wins the race :)
