Def player 2. He'll end up being trained as a PF but his probable small guy secondaries will be pretty valuable.

Which would you take. Both 5 ball rating. 19/5 ball potential (6'7") vs. 18/3 ball potential (6'11"). Both SF.

Depends on what you want to achieve. The 18yo will be more of a PF than a SF. If you want to sell the player, it's pretty much of a tossup. 18yo sell for more than 19yos, but potential is often overpaid for.

Ultimately, the 19yo probably won't reach his full potential though, so I'd take the 18yo if I wanted to train my pick.

Thanks. It's really got my confused, I've been switching them for a while. Still undecided. I miss my 5/5 18yo from last season :(

I'm in a similar position. I would take a 5/5 19 year old ahead of a 5/3 18 year old but would probably take a 5/4 18 year old ahead of the 5/5 19 year old.

What potentials correlate with each ball amount?

Should I place a 5/3 A+ C 6'11" 19 year old or 5/3 A SG 6'0" 18 year old first?

The 2nd guy seems to be the obvious choice.

Oh, I don't know. It's not like there would be any problem reaching the potential cap on the first player, so it probably depends more on what he's training normally.

The 18 y/o will train faster. Wouldn't you rather reach the cap when he's 21, not 22-23, then move on to a different trainee?

Plus the first seems to be better already (A+ versus A).

I'd decide by what you want to train the next seasons.
If it's mainly inside skills, go with number 1, if it's guard skills, take number 2.

We have both said a lot of things that you are going to regret.
