Coach Montel Doesnt Find Undefeated Record A Time To Rest

Although the Louisiana Gators are having an outstanding season being 14-0, Coach Montel still doesnt think its enough. "Dont get me wrong its that i believe that we wouldnt survive in the III league. We have a pretty stable roster but in order to have a continuously improving team, we must have a good training program. Our Star player for instance Ansis Braunbergs is a good player but he is too old to train. Next player is Karol Frak. He is a major part of out inside game but is yet not able to train. We are supposed to be getting better, but can we if we have players we cant train. Lothar Mendes is another player I focus on replacing because he is too old. Yes there is one more player. Auksys Pržemeneckas is the last one. He has proved himself a very stable player but is not able to train also," said Coach Montel. The Gators are currently sitting on a record of 14-0.

Gators Head Coach Erupts!!!!!

As expected of the Louisiana Gators players. Coach Montel has erupted as his none productive players and has placed 3 players on the transfer list. Karol Frak, ''Superstar SG" Lothar Mendes, and finally Auksys Pržemeneckas. "Karol Frak is such a great player but as I did say earlier, we cant progress if we cant train players to progress. The same thing is for Pržemeneckas, but for Mendes, he is an outstanding player but it is getting close to time for retirement for him. I have no more to say but those players will be missed, said Coach Montel. Coach Montel hopes to use the money to buy more advanced and trainable players.

Undefeated Season?

After tonight's upset win over Schroda's Shootas, Iron Dukes fans took to the streets, shouting for a victory over the still-undefeated Louisiana Gators. An undefeated season would almost surely mean a promotion to Div. III, but the Gators still need to get past SA River, Schroda's Shootas, and the Iron Dukes. "Bring it on," said one Iron Dukes player, exhausted from the overtime victory. "I've still got plenty of gas in the tank." Other players were not as quick to comment, for fear of jinxing their team's chances Tuesday night.

Gators Finished Transferring Player (For Now)

With three familiar faces gone and three new faces on the Gators roster, Coach Montel says they are ready for playoff time. "Not only we have kind of upgraded on those spots but at least we can train them. O yeah don't let their salaries fool you neither, just thought I would give you a heads up IronDuke :). The one I am expecting the most from is DarĂo Urmeneta. Me personally I think his actual salary is worth about 11 or 12k probably. I really liked him because he is only 20, which means he has a lot of time to improve that. He is of course a part of our new and still improving starting lineup," said Coach Montel. He says the next person he plans on replacing on the Gators roster is Ansis Braunbergs (Currently the face of the Gators Outside Shooting Game). "Of course that wont come until the off season when we have some more money built up and when we don't have any important games to play except for scrimmages, said Coach Montel.

In other news Coach Montel talked to Gators reporters about the upcoming schedule of games with Schrodas Shootas, Iron Dukes, and SA River. He told us that he is especially worried about Shootas and Iron Duke. "Did you guys happen to see those stats from them both!!!!! Duke had some superior OD and and Shootas had Strong IS. By the way it looks its not a guarantee of an undefeated season.

Streak Brought To An End By Close Rival

The Louisiana Gators streak has come to an end with an upsetting lost to Iron Duke. The Gators fans who were all very excited about this game looked away with shame. The Louisiana Gators now hold a 16-1 record and if they win two more game this will still be a historic season being the best they have ever had. "This is just a lesson to us that we are beatable and that we should just try harder," said Lino Zuniga the starting PF. Big Props go out to The Iron Duke's Basketball team. This is a big win for that team because his team seems to have been having trouble getting into the rhythm of things but has proven himself tonight.

Gators Look To Get Back On Track After Devastating Lost

The Gators accepted their second lost of the season losing to Schrodas Shootas without starting SG Dario Urmeneta. The Gators are now standing with a 19-2 record still making Gator history with their best record yet. "I feel I have let my team down by not being able to play and making my team fall off so bad but it happens. I think we will be ready for playoff time," said Urmeneta. "Well its not over yet. I predict we will end 20-2," said Coach Montel.

Gators Historic Season Comes To A Screeching Halt!

Gators got a shock last night in their playoff game against SA River. The Gators trailed from the beggining but didnt let them get over a 10 point lead. It came down to a last second shot made by the Gators and was missed causing the game. "Expectations were high and they did not not meet them. Its the same thing every season, losing in the first round of the playoffs. Im proud of this team at least they make the playoffs unlike some other teams in this league," said an upset Gator fan. Coach Montel has placed his star SF on the transfer list, Ansis Braunbergs looking to improve the Gator roster with a bigger and better one.

Gators Close Rival To Be Promoted

The Louisiana Gators had a scrimmage to play tonight but Coach Montel was not in attendance. Instead he was at the Iron Duke's Playoff final game. "It was worth watching from the beginning til the end with Tracy Lyons putting on a show scoring 29 points," said Coach Montel. When Coach Montel walked into the arena the fans gave him a round of applasue because he was wearing a Iron Duke shirt shocking fans because he is so closely affiliated with Louisiana Gators especially since he is the coach. Iron Duke will be promoting to the III. league this week and the Louisiana Gators booster club will host a celebration party for the historic season of the Louisiana Gators and a Celebration for Iron Duke's great accomplishment on Tuesday night at 7:30p.m. at Louisiana Arena. Once again congrats to Iron Duke.
