have a quick look at centers/pfs with great primaries around the 100k salary mark with no secondaires.
now have a look at players with great secondaries instead of great primaries around the 70 k mark.

theres a good mil or so more money going to the 70k guys

How many 70k-100k 18-19 year olds are there?

Difference with those players is they are finished training. Someone has put seasons of training out of position to achieve that, and the majority of people dont see the value in training a player with good secondaries over a player who has higher primaries. I have stated several times that I believe this practice is wrong, and I have and will continue to give my trainees occasional secondary training , but if you are training a rookie for quick sale it is best to train as a 1 dimensional player to gain a higher market value. What I, you, naker the BBs or god himself believes a player is worth has no bearing on the discussion. The same way people light up over potential, they overlook weak secondaries when they see a player with 3-4 more pops in the primaries and they dont hold back on the finances.

If this player reaches 30k, I doubt very highly he will be up for sale and should incorparate secondary training (although nowhere near as much as naker did with his). But his secondaries are very low and would lose a lot of value to try and turn into the balanced player naker believes. That is why if he chooses to sell he should train primaries to gain the most value.

Since my standard bigman's OD are 'inept', i would think of selling that player, or maybe do 'Naker Virus' way... :)

And it is based on the previous transfers on players with only the skill that it appraise similar,so he could appraise two completely different players with almost the same value.

That is why there is a swing of 800k in the 18 yo and only 100k in the 19 year old. It gives you the price range from lowest to highest price the player sells for, not the average. That is worked out on a players age, potential and highest skill. The arguement I have with Naker is that a player with higher standout skills will always get more money than a player who spends a long time training secondaries.

This is why it doesn't work, the potential growth of a 18 years old and of a 19 years old are very different,so the TPE should not compare those two players. And working only on the highest skill mean that you have no idea on the players that the TPE consider
If a player has marvelous JS,but inept in Od can't be compared with a player marvelous in JS and marvelous in OD

This thread has gone way off topic with the price estimate discussion. Maybe you guys should take it to the Aussie national forum? Or is the help forum now just the Aussie national forum?

Really Weird My US U21 NT manager Jelme told me to train up on inside skills instead of guard skillls...

One of the best things about this game is that there is no right way to do something.
Jelme is a very good manager and you should consider his advice (along with all the other advice) and decide what is best for you.

just rotate IS,ID and RB.

Outside skills are too low to even bother trying to train and at 7'3 it will take forever
