You don't consider your 4 discovered forfeits out of 160 leagues rare? That is easily less than 1% of the games. For a game with a ton of new and clueless users, I think that's pretty good already.
That was 4 playoff games in league #'s 1-160.....I would imagine if you looked back at ALL the games for those 160 leagues, there would be more instances of forfeits (or the "lucky fan" anomaly as it was first presented before the current remedy was put in place)....
My point with the quick research I did was that it's silly to have forfeits in the playoffs...that is just completely unrealistic...I'm not saying it's a HUGE issue for the game, but if something can be done to eliminate them altogether, that is what I would shoot for. The few ideas I've had have not been "functionally" workable, but if I'm the only one who thinks it's a problem, then I'll shut up about it. I just think it's pretty ridiculous to look at a playoff bracket, and see a 25-0 score....
Anyway, at the least, I hope the suggestion of fixing the statlines is implemented so the rare forfeit doesn't alter the individual player stat averages......
