I managed to nab this guy with my first pick in the draft this year

Killian Edmondson (19609843) Center
Weekly salary: $ 4 282
Role: draws a paycheck

DMI: 0
Age: 18
Height: 7'3" / 221 cm
Potential: starter
Game Shape: respectable
Jump Shot: atrocious Jump Range: inept
Outside Def.: atrocious Handling: inept
Driving: atrocious Passing: awful
Inside Shot: respectable Inside Def.: respectable
Rebounding: mediocre Shot Blocking: mediocre
Stamina: awful Free Throw: inept

Experience: atrocious

gotta love that 7'3" ... pity about the 3 atrocious skills and the Potential. But he fits into my training plan for this season, so all in all, a good result.

The Draft.

You always hope for the best, but in the back of your mind you always know she'll disappoint you, but you try anyway.

And you get burned.

Season after season.

But you keep trying.

Cause one day... she may turn around and give something back.

Or not.

So I look like I will get something decent this season.

Im looking to come between 6 and 8 in my conf so will get a ok pick.
the team that will be dead last in league has not even put in teams this season so cant see him getting a good player.

So far from my scouting I have these players

18 - 5 ball 3 ball A-
19 - 5 ball 3 ball A+
19 - 5 ball 3 ball A-
Plus got 4 other ball balls to interview as yet.

Of the 1st 3 I assume im best to take the 18 year old?

What will the 3 ball poitential mean? Salary cap wsie?
Cheers

I would definitely go the 18yo. In my experience 3 ball potential will mean Star or All-star most likely (depending on how their trained these players can get up to 50kish in salary). If one of the 4 ball guys is 18 with 4 or 5 ball potential i would take him first as it will mean a better training potential which makes players more valuable on the transfer market.

dont waste interviews on 19 years old since they are not worth it unless ur betting on them being HOF or above and even then you might not be able to hit the cap.

being a season being and all. so 5 ball 19 years old = 3 balls 18 years old in a season time.

Agreed - I never, ever go for 19 year old players. Essentially, think about how much of a waste it would be to get an awesome new 18 year old trainee - then not train or play him for a whole year :P

I have never done the scout to get all ages and are only finding out ages when I interview.
Should I be doing that?
I did the scout for all 1 and 2 ballers and got 5 x 5 ballers out of that. Still got 4 5 ballers I was planing to interview to finish off.
Or should I find all ages now?
Or should I do that 1st next season?
I only started playing last season not long before draft started.
