This part is not true. There is no way to tell which level 10 will drop first because the drops are random
I think you still don't really understand the point of Riceball. I think he means something like this: the average time of a coach of level 10 before he drops to 9 is about let's say 2 months.If you have a lvl 10 coach for 2 months and 2 weeks, then the chance that he will drop a lvl is pretty high (and increasing every week stasticly). So if you decide to hire a new lvl 10 coach, you will start a new average timespan of 2 months. So there is a bigger chance that your coach will drop if you keep the old one of 2,5 months.Of course there are exceptions, but it is a smart move to hire a new coach if you expect that he will drop a level soon.
Presumably, Alan Dubois has been dropping slowly so that he is only now recognized as a "9" though he hasn't been a true "10" for some time.
