Looks like you do need outside players with more that OD and PA even if you play all inside.

passing is aways important then, but in this game i would say the winning team was very lucky just look at the matchup rating, the average scoring was worse and the loosing team get the ball most likely quite efficient to there best thread at C.

Asssisted shot attempts normally push the percentage up since they are usually good shots, but overall i stay with it your opponent should have hit the basket better then you then always hit after possible assist is even with better shots unlikely ;)

and the atchup rating show mostly the expected outcome of an average shot(the combination of unassisted and assisted ones).

Maybe he lost the game also on the line, both teams wasn't great at the free throw line but he had far more attemps and i am not sure if they are included in the matchup rating.

I doubt the part about FTs beeing out of the matchup ratings. If I hack a player on every single possession he has, that would drop his rating to zero then. Makes pretty much no sense to me.

i believe they are very easy calculated, whenever you take a shot the chanche to make it and the previous shot lea to a new average(this average is representated on a 100 shot basis). I don't that they are precalculated or whatever and don't take care about the quality of the actual shots.

Normally they make sense to the games, but random always plays a role in it and everybody have sometimes luck or bad luck.
