Dudley is not starting calibre.

Think I missed this comment.

We could have a debate about that but you have to at least say he could be a sixth man, like I said, he did a great job defending Kobe and Durant when OKC and LA versed PHX and he did fill the SG role brilliantly with a team that didn't have any superstars that Nash could assist. In my eyes, I think Dudley has become a fan favourite for his athleticism and quick hands :)

So the Knicks just became a joke.

A mid-range pick and roll porker PG, 3 ISO players and a DPOY in their starting lineup.

Being new here just saw this discussion and wondered if anyone saw that Mayo has signed with the Mavs and the Knicks let Lin go to Houston. Chicago could have used either player and gotten rid of Boozer.

Yeah Bulls seem to be tanking this off-season like it's the next regular season.

I'm fairly certain you're not going to replace your starting PF with a guard. He's on a pretty big contract, so it's not that easy to just 'get rid of him' either...

Is anyone else sick of these Super Teams that seem to be coming together? I can't see how it's good for the competition to have all the stars teaming up together?

The Celtics started it, but the Heat obviously took it to the next level. Unfortunately it seems to be how the league works now. It gets to the stage where the regular season is almost pointless - there's only a couple of teams that are going to be able to compete properly anyway. It's ridiculous that out of 30 teams there's probably only 3 or 4 other that will have the firepower to compete with the Lakers and the Heat. Fucking ridiculous.

Well bulls with rose aren't a super team and would of taken it to the heat if wasn't for that injury. Thunder were put together thru drafting and if had more experience I reckon could of one the finals they showed glimpses of what they could do there problem will be keeping there whole team together. Spurs have had pretty much same team forever and were one of best in the west last season. To be completely honest nets won't live up to the hype come its the nets. I think this season sure heat will win lots of games but I think theyll fall to a team in the finals as Kenton now has that ring an all that fire from he last finals was all because he had a point to prove. It'll be interesting to watch some of the middle of the pack teams. I can see pacers doing some range but what was with getting rid of collinson. He was a good player to have off the bench.

Celtics will look to start rebuilding around rondo, green and Bradley and those draft picks I think tey got a steal in sullinger if he stats healthy. And there super team was created thru trades non of this free agent bullshit with the players calling the shots aka Lebron and co.

I also think that Nash and Kobe may not mesh do well but gasol will benefit greatly.

It doesn't matter if you trade for it or sign via free agency, it's still a Super Team.

Celtics
Heat
Knicks
Nets
Lakers

All of these teams have been/are currently/are trying to be a Super Team. The Bulls tried to build a Super Team, but couldn't quite pull it off.

I agree the Thunder and Spurs aren't - these are examples of how the league should work.

I can't believe you put the Knicks and the Nets in that mix LOL they are both such jokes esp the Knicks. so poorly run.

The Nets might make some noise this season after spending truckloads
deron williams
joe johnson
gerald wallace
kris humphries
brook lopez / reggie evans

The Knicks look good on paper but just dont jell, even with 3 max contracts they still struggle to make the playoffs.
raymond felton
jr smith / iman shupert
Carmelo
Amare
tyson chandler

@skyhooks
but what was with getting rid of collinson. He was a good player to have off the bench.

collison was due for a big pay day after this season cos he will be a free agent. the Pacers simply cant afford to keep with danny granger and roy hibbert on max contract. and they also need to make up cap space to keep paul gearge.
dj augustin / george hill
paul george
granger
west
hibbert / mahimi
