No, you didn't have to play crunch, thank you :p

At least you're enjoying more cash in your home games than me. But once again when I look at team ratings, you have nothing to fear (yes, I know an overtime was involved). You have great offense and great defense, and now your TS is back.

As Joe pointed out, you had the unluck to play your opponents just after they faces Pheonix, meaning you're a natural target.

But you shouldn't be worried, for me you have the third nicest squad in this conference, behind Mizu and Joe, level with Stonestars (imo).

Did someone has already had the case to have a player increasing in stamina while you are training something else ?

First round analysis:

Looking at our league, there are no real surprises to be seen.
Last seasons top 4 is still in the saddle. Based on the first 7 games, Vottem is the strongest team and the number one candidate to take the title.

At the bottom we find all newly promoted teams + Phoenix Suns who are rebuilding.
The difference between D.II & BBBL is huge.

As for our Wolves, we're doing not too bad I guess. With a tough schedule we managed to pull out 3 wins.
I hope we can hold on to the nr 6 spot, that would put us in a good position to stay in BBBL.

Greets,
H

That's right, there is a world between D.2 and BBBL.

No pain, no gain :)

I think the final standings should look approximatively that way, although it is always possible for a team to recruit or to go bankrupt (none of which is something I wish :p)

But, right now cup seedings on BBBL teams have been extremely kind so far. With the further rounds becoming increasingly difficult, it wouldn't be a surprise to see some teams dropping league games, leading to surprises.

And yes, once again, Joe is favourite to win ... that'd be nice from him to save one of the two titles for someone else, but this is highly unlikely :p

I end the first round with a 5-2 record which makes me very happy.
I decided to strenghten the team which results in this good record.
For a teamsalary of 626k I'm also pleased with the ratio of salary and performance.

Because of this I'm also changing my ambition from avoiding relegation to making the play-offs

New player:

As from today Michiel Ysenbrandt will join our ranks.

For two reasons:
- Ma Yupeng is putting too much strain on our finances. It's not easy for a D.II team to forecast BBBL finances, so we overdid ourselves a bit with adding Yupeng. Management will look for a new home for Yupeng.
- a quality belgian player. Ysenbrandt brings a belgian touch in our A rotation. At age 31 he still has some time to perform at his top level. Hopefully more belgians will choose to follow him in the future!

Regards,
H

That's a very nice buy.

I had considered buying him, but I'm already too high on wages and have to play it cool. I was wondering whether your chilean player or the chinese would be leaving, but increasing your payroll any further would be indeed quite hard to sustain.
