FYI

Romero was NOT capped. That means he is now even better than before

I'm stopping the training of Romero.
It's too slow.
And for my team, i need train guard.

Tenakha's response is consistent with what I think about how the "cap" works. I.e. Potential does not put an upper bound on how high a player's skills can go. It does place an upper limit on how high they can be trained at normal age-adjusted training rates. Once they reach a certain skill level, training rates drop, and possibly the rate gets even slower as the skills get further past the potential limit.

next year, he will be train some weeks in passing and pressure
So he will play Point guard !!!!!

I think Passing is good for him and for my team. This sesaon he has 1.8 assist by game.
Outside def is for tactif 1-3-1 and thus he will play Power forward.

That sounds good, he can definitely use passing. And training passing will also add to other stats on the side.

I'm interested to see if the soft cap will also affect his side skills (ie: if training passing will also be slow now that he reached his soft cap). Would this impact your decision to play him at point guard?

I think it will be hard to separate training problems related to the soft cap from problems relating to training a 7'2" player in outside skills.
