If you think we arrived to the best balance between costs and profits you don't have to work anymore on it otherwise as already someone (sorry I don't remeber your name ;) said, it's impossible for us to prepare a long term strategy.
Last season we have seen players sold for 8 millions this season max for 6 millions, who bought last season will have a loss if he needs to sell the same player now but that's it we cannot change every season simply because there were a lot of $$$ or because people doesn't have $$$. People that wants to keep the players in roster in order to not have loss will be forced to sell these players when there will be the new salary update and the market will work once again.
At the end; no deflaction here, simply the users don't want to sell at 1 what has been paid 2 some weeks ago, the BBs have only to decide how many "stars" we have to keep in roster for example 3 in top div, 2 in second, one in third division and balance the income following the salaries of these stars; if I can't have 5 stars in my roster I will have simply to sell some players if I don't want to go in bankruptcy. I'm sure everyone wants to have the best players in his roster but it's also funny to manage a team with 1 star and 4 good players.

I cant wait to hear the whining after another season of salary hikes...gimme a break.
