It's realistic. Do you think the Laker's got more or less gate recipts than the Celts for the first league game of the 08/09 season, even though they lost?

You can't seriously be wanting a Man United type dominance? That might make the game get very boring, very fast. You have to admit that if you were making so much more money than the next best team in your league even you'd get bored after a significant amount of time.

Competition is fun.

If you read the first post. You should understand that it is the fanbase problem. Not a question of me making trillions more than the next guy. There are ways of balancing that out. Don't we have the draft to bridge the gap as well? Nobody mentioned that I have drafte last for 3 straight seasons and have gotten nothing but crap there. Have I yet complained about that? No, and I'm not going to, because it's realistic and part of the game.

Laker tickets are much more than Celtic tickets. And if both sell out. Lakers get more... Thats what beeing the hottest ticket in town is about.

I'd like to ask everyone to refrain from personal attacks.

Thanks.

You might be right concerning the STH, but I think that the attendance is influenced much more strongly by the winning streak than by the STH.

Keep in mind that teams like yours are privileged in this game.
I see you have an overall transfer balance of -5M€!
Mine is +1.4M€ and it is barely enough to stay on track.

Remember that budgets for top div. and div. III teams (you were just promoted to div. II right) are very different. Once you get to the top div. Your transferbalance will reflect that. You don't need to sell out 25000 seats to compete in div. II.

but remember that teams need money to come up with teams like yours. and getting the money in lower divisions didn' get easier in the last seasons! i am still working on it!

and i don't understand your argumentation about reflecting of the transferbalance. could you explain that to me?

Sure. When you move up, now in 2div. and later 1. div and top div. You will get more gate money, more fans and thereby more money. So you can spend more on transfers and your balance can get in the red like mine and still you can have money in the bank.

but normally you need more money to spend for your players wages (better players to keep up with get better paid) so that there shouldn't be too much more to spend on tranfers. and those players you need to improve your team are expensive (most likely more expensive than those players you needed to move up the latter).

in my opinion you can't just always buy the market just because you are in the top division. or you just should not. ;o)

I have a profit of 36k pr. week right now. That means I have to stop in my tracks, unable to get better. Where is the point in that. Lay down and stop winning?

you were complaining about this.
My team (and i am not an exception) has barely had a weekly profit in the last 2-3 seasons. And do not get till the cup or the playoff finals (meaning that I have 3 weeks a season without income).
So yes, maybe it's time for you too to "enjoy" the "where is my money?" part.

But don't worry, you still make more (or lose less) money than your opponents :)
