The highly anticipated matchup between 30th and 31st rank Philippines and Singapore who both sports a 3-0 record in Pool A of the Asian U21 Championship turned out to be a no contest as the U21 Pilipinas team rough handled the Singaporeans to take a commanding 15 point lead at the half. The Singaporeans tried a third quarter comeback but the Pinoys were too much in the end ending the match at 97 to 79 for a 18 point blowout.

Gener Juan Umadhay followed up his brilliant perfomance against the UAE squad the last outing with a 28 point performance this time around on a 10-18 shooting night. He also was 10-12 from the free throw line while adding 7 rebounds, 2 assists and a game high 5 blocks to cap another stellar performance.

PH-Cezzz, the Pilipinas U21 manager was very proud of Umadhay's performance and this is what he had to say. "Umadhay was so out of shape the first few games that I didn't want to play him. Luckily his gameshape improve and now we see the monster player he really is."

Ph Cezzz added. "Mones, Gayomali and Umadhay is probably one of the best u21 frontline in this seasons u21 competition. Adding Zulueta and Obutusin to the picture I think this is probably one of he best front court lineup ever in Pilipinas U21 history. I hope we will go places with this team and win the Asian Championships this season. Dream the impossible dream."

Good shot lang man din ang sinabi nya ah. Ang delikado lang na team talaga ngayon is Hongkong. Try to look at their roster. 138k Center, couple of 70k center and high salaried guards too. Just like the old times noong panahon ni Lia Cruz. Halos ganyan line up natin noon.

Nice come from behind win against Taiwan last night. We managed to survive the first quarter blitz.

I also have my trainees now. Hopefully they could suit up in the U21 in the future.

I'm shock Taiwan didn't L. Yeong Aun play as a starter. Baka tinatago pa nila pero malakas yan.

Mukhang di ganun kalakas ang line-up ng china ngayon. Although they have a solid PG. May laban ata tayo ah. Unless may tinatago silang player na hindi pa na call-up.
