Don't ignore the power of the turnover. You gave up 10 to your opponents six...and you only needed two points to go to OT. If you'd not given up those extra four, you might have got the extra basket you needed.

Better handling and passing reduces turnovers and creates more good shots.

I had some fun times losing recently when I thought my team was better. I had a think about my team and who was in it and now I have a pretty tough rule for selection: if a player can't defend the position he plays at, he can't play there.

yea, i tend to focus on offense and not so much on defense.

I think most players do...

I started out with buying some good defenders, because everyone focussed on attack, they where prety cheap, and they do score as well.
I mostly had no trouble winning my games with those players either.

I think defence is strongly underestimated by the managers.

It also does not surprise me that you often see posts like: I don't understand why I lost... my men are better... blablabla.
Never did they consider that the oponent might have had very good defenders.

They are not your friends; they dispise you. I am the only one you can count on. Trust me.

thats definitly not the best interpretation. Ok he had 4 Turnovers more, however he had 9 more rebounds, thus 5 more possession not 4 possessions less like u calculated...

Let's hear your interpretation then.

We'd already established in the thread that one of his squad underperformed shooting-wise. I was merely indicating that fewer turnovers may have led to his winning the game.
