that no cheating, as long as he buy the player under or on market rate ;) but high prices transfer betwenn foreigners, will be more often seen as luck for the seller then ones betwenn friends.

a early bid under value ain't cheating, i can tell you that for sure ;)

The problem of this practice is, that you often sell your player under value because not enough interested person are online to bid him on a good price.

i think by definition if you get the player for X, X is not under the market rate, you can only inflate the rate you are paying. If it was really such a deal then the player would have been bought by someone else for 2.1 M.

there are two situations i can imagine you are describing. One is where a player was listed which would eventually sell for 5 million, and a friend bid 2M immediately such that the cash would be immediately available for the seller to spend on another player. Second, is that that same player was not worth 2M and a second team bought that player for 2M when he was only worth 200K, and that 2M was used to buy another valuable player.

The first situation is not cheating, the second is cheating.
The first is simply an early bid, which is not illegal.

They picked the time when fewest users are online to sell the 2M player...so A can get it under market rate, and B have enough money to get the 5M player...this apparently benefit both teams...
But i guess from your replies...they are not cheating, right? They are just playing very smart under the rule...

That doesn't mean anything and doesn't even assure a lower price. I've gotten up in the middle of the night to buy players and I know I'm not the only one that has done that.

If I get up to buy a player I'm likely to spend more. Not getting up for nothing!

So you can call it opportunity cost...

Anyway pretty strange that there isnt a Chinese GM, since a big part of the Chinese community doesnt speak english... Unless we got GM's that are able to speak Chinese or the traditional Chinese :)
