what do you expect, to get a player with all prominent starting skills?

There are 2 higher levels (A and A+) so there should be even better trainees yes. But that one certainly is a great trainee, he may even be close to the next levels considering his pretty high salary.

Lebron wasn't born that good either.

A- is the least level thats somehow valuable - all minor grades are crap, didn't see too many A's in my three years here though.

I don't think it has to be so high. But there about. But the most important thing absolutely is to pick 18 yos! You get quite many pops in one full season of training.....!

Edit: 18yos with somewhat decent potential and not atrociuos skills, of course

I had #2 pick in the draft and got my first selection. According to the scouting report he was a PF, 5 star skills, A- rating, 4 star potential.

And what did I get ..... a player with mediocre IS and RB and average ID and SB. Someone explain to me how that is 5 star!!!!!

Further proof that the draft is pointless and not worth spending a cent on

That is actually not that bad a pick, compared to some of the ridiculous grades that scouts hand out more often than not.

Wasn't a mistake, of the double scouted players I had (I think it was around 10) he was the only player worth drafting at all :) So didn't have much of a choice.
