Good victory indeed. To be fair, we were the favorite here... Then again Makedonija played better than expected.

Remarkable first match for P. Davies (Swindon Bulls) and J. Costabile. Overall I'm satisfied with the ratings!

Now let's see how we play against Ceska Rep.

Guys if you are watching the match next time, let's log into the chat :)

Today we face Ceska Rep, it's a medium sized BB country with about 400 active teams.

However, if you look at their roster you'll see this is no picnic :(
We see a monster like Vladan Slezácek (4810058) and a PG Flavio Portavales (4809836) to match our stars.

Thankfully their overall game shape is not all that hot and that should play in our favour. I take this chance to congratulate the NT guys clubs for keeping them in great shape - broadly speaking :)

As I mentioned before our rival got 4th place in Pool C in the qualifiers. They have a pretty good match record losing only 3 of the last 13. Recently they lost against Magyarország (7614)

We look forward to complete Magyarország's job and shutter that record!

Sadly we lost... (7649)

All in all, looking at the ratings we it's a fair result, unfortunately :( They performed surprisingly well... I'll do a full post-mortem later on this wk.

I'm surprised they managed to win like this though...

That is just his personal opinion. It was close game we just got lucky with some crucial free throws. Better luck next time.

Definitely well played. You took a risk, but it payed out. I'll be fair, it's the 1st time that I see someone winning using Princeton :)

Perhaps I'll have a chance to face you guys again later in the tournament!

Our next game is against Saudi Arabia, a tiny BB country with only 28 active teams.

Despite that they manage to get prominent inside scoring. This is mostly thanks to their star Centers Hassan Al-Ismail (5150344) and Farook El-Akil (4867416)

Their roster is definitely better than you would imagine.

These are their latest matches:

(7673)
(7619)
(6901)
(6899)

Obviously we are the favourites by far! But I won't play this down. We'll have a pretty decent lineup. I might experiment a bit though...

A relatively easy win against Saudi Arabia (7703)

Kumar (4136987) had one of his best games ever, he might not be the strongest player in terms of salary, but his combination of skills is remarkable and unique in England that's why he keeps showing up in the NT and as you guys can see with good results!

Out next game is against Mexico, it's gonna be a very difficult match, just so you know, one of the most expensive players in BB (the most expensive?) plays for Mexico: Elías Cárdenas (5164963), he gets a whopping $ 487 754 per week. See what a bloody monster they are gonna set against us?
