i went with 3-2 and crunch time against his motion and take it easy. beat him on boards by 17 but that was not enough as i lost in overtime although his best player was out of the game in midst of third quarter. i should and could have taken man to man but it is easier to say than to do.

I dont think that man to man could help u more than 3-2. He had the better team and he won. That doesnt mean that u r tactic was wrong.

Edit:From what ive seen u r guard's D is really weak. I am sure if where playing man to man u could lose even easier

sure he has the better team, at least better suited to play against me than i can play against him. but there was a good chance after his only capable inside player was fouled out and losing has hurt because of this. man to man would help in rebounding which i felt lacked considering his foul troubles. it is of course a big unknown how my team would respond to his very capable outside scorers. i had only one good outside defender who has just come from the injury and he has average game shape so yes my outside defence sucks big time.

You couldnt get more rebounds playing man to man, for a simple reason. His guards, would miss as much as with 3-2. :)
