Okay...so a 3 star draftee could still has some market value.

based on salary range alone.... once your team has been established for 1 season then surely anything else other than a 5 star would just be binned or TL?

even on the TL they would fetch very litte.... so big question is does the draft represent sensible economic value?

based on this i would say no.... stick with arena income.... or am i missing something....

unless you are coming to the end of a training cycle (unlikely) and too miserly to stump up for the actual trainee you want only being sentimental towards your nation would make you want to keep your draft picks... (and no i dont have a single Japanese players still on my roster.)

Hmmm...good question.

I do think the economics and players available to a division I team might be somewhat different than the rest of us, so maybe its not quite so pointless.

I do wonder though how the draft will be view in higher division. I'm sure players are spending more on scouting, in most leagues there are fewer bots in the higher divisions -- so as a result there will be more competition for the 5-star players in the draft and you wouldn't get as many good players.

I do wonder if they'll ever make the players better in the higher league drafts to compensate for these issues.

well i invested 10k a week for only ht elast 6-7 weeks so im not expecting much feedback.....

my biggest regret in HT was forking out for YA and YT when i wouldve been better off handpicking someone to train with the base stats i needed from the TL as and when i needed them

it just seems like a crap shoot unles there are to be some gems to be unturned.... a 4k player would have to have almost faultless stats in the areas you were training in order not to have to turn your nose up at him...

or am i too picky?!

Well...you could always sell him.

But I think that the Div. I teams are probably looking for a lot better players than the rest of us.

Are you still playing HT? Which team?

They have improved the YA now, so maybe dedicated players can make some cash finally.

Not necessarily.

One of my top trainees (and current USA NTer) was a draftee.

My finances are such that I can pull a Ron Popeil with the $40K/week - set it and forget it.

I rank three stars ahead of unknowns, and 2 and 1 stars behind unknowns.

Does 1-star players exist??
This is my first draft. I have information on about 25 players, and none of them have only one star. 9 players have 2 stars and about 6 have 3 stars. I automatically put the ones with 3 stars below the unknowns, as I thought that it couldn't be much worse.

Is that a bad idea?

1 stars definately exist, havent worked out whether there are even proportions of every star type though.

you would have a few 1* as unknowns, so be weary when ordering your draft list
