Mibbit was available across their own page, and I could connect to irc.buzzerbeater.org. I guess there was a bug between match viewer and mibbit chat.

I'm not getting any errors but the chat isn't working at the moment. It's just stuck on "connecting to server" and hangs there, been that way for about 10 minutes now.

I was late to my game and loaded it up near the end of the 3rd quarter but i dont think that should make a difference?

I'm on the same pc i usually log on with and had never had any problems in the past. I went through the mibbit site like a previous poster suggested and upon logging in, saw there was only 7 people on the irc.buzzerbeater.org server at the time so i'm assuming a lot of other people are having the problem at the moment too?

Hello Marin,
the chat isn't working for me now.. It wrote me an internet error (using Mozilla Firefox but I guess it is not matter), and now I click to connect with my nick name and it's just getting stuck on the connect window..

Mibbit had some problems with being under a DDoS attack. They seem to have it under control now. Also, the chat on our site works (for the time being ), but if you notice it's down again, let us know.

Mibbit is not a good IRC client, that's why I thought it was important to give alternatives. Try good old fashion mIRC if you ever experience problems connecting through Mibbit again. The ones using mIRC were all on the chat during the Mibbit crisis, since the problem wasn't on the BuzzerBeater IRC network. All the information you need is here: (127209.1). Enjoy ;)

We are planning on developing our own chat client so we won't waste a lot of time trying to get this one to work. Try to use an Irc program to connect (like Mirc).
