Yeah, I agree that there is a big disparity. For instance, if a div V team plays at your place that's a big revenue that gives them an advantage over the other teams in the division. But in real life that happens, so if they were to implement it we would just have to live with it.

In some soccer cups they have a rule which would reduce the revenue disparity, which is that the team from a lower division always plays at home. If it's fair or not, we can argue. But I understand that many of the top teams don't have that much interest in the cup

it was also very unfair in the top divisions, if you meet a top team in the early rounds one of them will loose contact to the other teams becaomes a few rounds make millions of extra profit other plays succesful but maybe have streaks of 6-7 away games without real income where the others maybe had the luck of two bots on home to make the same money.

So the cup income still make a big impact on the weekly income, but don't become dominating and it stays comparable to your succes and not on your luck or bad luck if you have a home or away game.

Yeah, I imagine that. I just mentioned the lower leagues because that's all I've experienced so far :P. The "higher division team plays away from home" would maybe even the field, but perhaps at the expense of other things.

As we've agreed, the cup is a delicate thing and I think the way things are works out fine. Another idea would be having a cup for "higher leagues" and another for "lower leagues". It might be more competitive and allow for more desirable revenues, but may bring different issues. It's just a thought, I'm not sure myself it would be a better way to go. Cheers
