I think thats because normally 1st league team cant afford 150-200k player like that, so it is about teams which have no other perspective, to pay them.

I understand the way to get better merchandise for the clubs, but in the situation where it is not so much effective, is imo important to think about even something else.

I understand that if you want to play this game normally and dont want to be a farm, you have to focus to train a player which will not get so much money. Therefore a Small Forward. Thats the type of player which can possibly fit into NT while club doesnt suffer for his monstrous wage.
But once club takes the way to create PG or even C, will be pretty much disadvantaged, because demands on NT are every year greather...

...so I think is about time to do something about it and if such a player with wage 200k is promoted to the NT, cut his wage to 133k (150k to 100k etc), so should not be only about farms to make and guide these players.

as a first league team, i say that you can afford easily some of those player, even without the NT bonus

You can, but it doesnt mean that you are not losing money this way. Possibly its about individual priroty of every manager, but personally I would invest best effort likely on SF, on these conditions.

The percentage cut is giving a greather bonus for the players with higher wage, because it shut down bigger cut. Thats why would this solution kind of balance theirs demands.

buy a SF of this kind, is very expensiv and he cann't win a game alone ;) So overall you need at least a decend 100k Center and PF, else you would be dominated by the opposition who bought maybe more salary expensiv player who are cheaper maybe the first 6-7 Season if you consider the buying price.

as it was said, that is currently the case ;) Salary + nationality + NT performances + Club performances are all variables used to determine the merchandise income of your player. Kienbink is maybe the star of the german NT, but Amitrani would give you ~100k merchandise per week, which is more then Kienbink.

Well indeed, but NT players are kind of different material. Decent center is always needed no matter how much he cost and is part of the game to make high-wage decisions. However once you hit NT-level, you have to behave differently as a coach...

...on the other side I would not understand why for example this guy (8189609) need a farm.

So if there are any specifications used as a variables for merchandise and 380k player gives to the club more than 150k player, it is maybe still not enough. (at least for small countries, where farming will be always needed)

even small country have the same amount of players who are capable of paying the top end of the salary, because nearly every country has 16 division one clubs.

I don't know why small countries were brought to this discussion but surely there is a difference in TV contract money which i guess could be pretty low in extremely small countries where even Div 1 is not full or have subpar teams. Not that those players would be needed to compete in such leagues but I guess all the small countries OT was about domestic takers for their NT palyers i.e. significantly lower revenue is a theoretical issu.

The question is how many of them is willing to train NT player, another question how many is capable to do so etc.

That solution I offer would have even positive impact on morale if player owners, because would be against their interest to keep player below good game shape, because every missed match means lesser discount for the wage.

i believe the different would be around 50-70k tv when the teams reach the level of having "nt monster", and that just because week team who give the big ones an higher average visitor income so i think overall they would get the same or more money then me.
