your are a little off base here.Training different players in different weeks won't have any effect on the efficiency of the training. Training the same players in the same skill will. You should rotate the training that each player receives. Whether you do it on a weekly basis or bi-weekly basis doesn't make that big of a difference. Should you train one skill up to 10, say, when all his other skills are 5, then you will have a problem.
A good idea is to rotate your training on a 4 week schedule. For example:
Week 1: 1on1 players A and B
Week 2: ID players A and B
Week 3: RB players A and B
Week 4: IS players A and B

That would be a decent schedule for big men training. You should remember to occasionally train stamina and free throws.

Once I scored a basket that still makes me laugh.

Ok thank you all, that helped a lot.
So, to summarize, if I had a player with 10+ JS, HN and DV and 2 JR I may train him in outside shooting even for an entire season without ever seeing a slow down in training intensity? Well, actually JS, HN and DV are all secondary skills improved by Outside Shooting and they might be slower than usual to pop, but the primary skill for this training, JR, would be fine, right?

Yes, in fact, JR would train a lot faster if it was so much behind the other related skills.
