Thanks for the response guys, but shouldn't head-to-head be above point difference in the tie-breaker rules? It penalizes a team in a stronger, more competitive conference.

but to stay with your example, you just have one match against each other who isn't on neutral court so this tie breaker also punish the team who don't have the home court advantage.

Maybe it could work, conference only, where you had one game at home and away, but in this case we maybe need a bit different end game logic.(even when it maybe prevents some screwed games as a positive fact)

The 3rd tiebreaker after Point Differential is Points Scored not Head to Head, so yes it is meaningless unfortunately.
