And there was luck indeed! Yay! Thanks for helpful advices. I was a bit worried because his best men are PF and C and to play Look inside against them...at the end it worked. My outside men are also proficient in driving, so they exploited that. My C has Respectable passing and that also went good. His outside defense was Inept with 3-2...makes me wonder if I should play Push the Ball in 2nd game. What do you think?

EDIT: Oh, and about better ID and IS game ratings...my friend reminded me that my outside players improved a lot in driving, so does this count as an Inside Shot? And I didn't think about Game Shape, thanks.

one on one improves inside shooting too, so yes, even if driving didn't improve the inside offense rating (not sure about that), this would increase the inside offense. Enthusiasm plays a role in defensive ratings and rebounds, too, so that could account for the jumo in the inside defense and rebounding ratings.
