that would explain why so many users I see in V or IV try to get away by selling their players to teams in the same country for inflated prices.... i guess if people get away with it they will continue and if they dont they will just quit...

The taxation is still too weak I would have stronger taxation to reduce once again day traders. I believe that this game is growing very well and until now the BB have taken good decisions following the suggestions of the users. I think the only reason why some people left the game is because is not so "immediate" to understand and because you can see the results of your strategy only on a medium/long term basis.
There are still something to do but at the moment this is one of best browser game I've played.

Day trading has been seriously reduced.

It will never go away entirely, and it really shouldn't be.

If someone can pull if off successfully in this restrictive climate, more power to them.

bb doesnt necessarily need more users but they need more supporters. more useres only make the game more difficult to manage for the BBs.
Apparently getting more users is oney way of getting more supporters, the other way is increasing the percentage of supporters.

True, but I think in most games there is a pretty steady proportion of people how will play to play and will be long time supporters. What that percentage is I have no idea.

I think that Spain and Italy, the countries with the most teams (about 1/3 of all teams) weren't having teams deactivated. It must have been fixed so it made it seem like a bigger drop than usual.
