yer you've got some nice players, however im probably raking in about $30k more a week in salary alone, compared to you. So it depends on the strategy and such. i must say though, i was surpised though, at how little one of my guys salary went up at the start of this season, he got about 8 pops i think, but salary only went up about $3.5K, so yer, either luck or maybe after this season his salary will bump. dunno.

oh and your guy made U21 aus team, good stuff!

Nah junel was just looked at to see how his stats are going.... With a bit more training he will get in i hope!! The bb's have reduced all of the salaries this season... Viojan got heaps of pops and sould be like 19k salary but thanks to the adjustment he is only at 14k.... So my wages have stayed the same which is great for me!!

gotta relate to this thread because i dont think my team willl be as high as 5th again

oh you will be surprised. as the course of the season progresses, some teams may go bot. Later on, as teams realise they will finish 5th of 6th, they may start to 'tank' in order to receive better draft picks, or they might sell all their good players and start to rebuild, get more salary etc etc.

HOWEVER. when Maggots have a national ranking of 101, compared to my 279 or whatever it is, AND because they flogged me both times last year, i know they they will eventually be higher on the ladder than I.

Yeah it is for sure a great start!! But wait untill the big guns come out to play... If any of us can get a win then we are going well... Btw I was shocked at how much I beat the Dooleys by!!

yeh it was a bit of a smacking like my 45 point loss :). i wonder whether it would be worth me then trying to win this game against dooleys.

dude, it was saintstars, you're supposed to get beaten by 45 points.... we will ALL get beaten by 45 points by them this season. he will mostly likely go into Div II at the end of the season. So sont stress about that loss.

Div III is a really good place to learn about tactics, as opposed to just trying to put together the best team. Have a look at what offence your opposition run every week, and search the 'help' section for the best defence against that. eg: Sainstars have played 'motion' offence for 3 games this season. assuming they play that offence again, the best defence for that tactic, is probably 3-2 zone. But you can find this info out in the forums/help area. Also learn if your team is any good at playing that defence (ie: Maybe all your guards have crappy Outside D)
Also fiddle around with Crunch-time/Take it easy settings. Definately do some reading on this stuff in the forums.
You've already got one team gone bot, so you won't finish dead last this season, so y ou;ve just gotta try and be competitive enough to stay in the league. Bit of effort, but good fun.
and definately check out the forums and help posts.... i learn something new, everytime i go there and read something.

Saintstars Vs the Maggots in the final I reckon.... They have by far the better team and players.... Maggots are favorite in my veiw..... I would need to get hold of some serious cash to have a chance against them but gettin the gap down.... I would be using tie anytime I play them!!
