I agree with pretty much all of this. Don't get too discouraged by your semi-finals loss. The team you lost to has a much higher world ranking although I must be honest I am not sure how he gets those game ratings with his roster. Plus you played look inside which played into his strength. But in general, follow the advice from Manon and you will be competing for promotion again next year. Good luck!

Not unless you are very particular about your PFs. I would not worry about it, but that's me. That's what makes BB fun, everyone has a different way of doing things, and there isn't a definite right way to do things either.

I disagree with these answers. I think a good PF should have some OD. It doesn't need to be great but I would prefer it to be around the average to respectable level. If it is too much below that when the opposing PF steps back and takes an outside shot or a 3 pointer they are going to be hitting at a very high rate.

PF Skills Order (My opinion)
ID
RE
IS
JS
PA
OD
The rest

level 6-7 OD on a PF is lost in DIV in my opinion. In DI-III i can understand where you are coming from but not in DIV. there just arent that many PFs with high level JS in this division. 4-5 is the most i would worry about. But it really depends on the opponents in your league. If you can get higher then that's great but I wouldnt stress too much about it, As yodabig said OD is a prettylow priority for PFs.

Do PFs need OD???

i think this is a really good question. In the past i would have said no, because i had PF without good values in OD, and there matchup don't run frenzy with lot of high percentage outside shot(and the most player i know who they play could shoot).
But the last to season i had PF with really good defence(9 and 11), and my team was/is quite succesful even when i think that other teams have the much better players especially guards.

So i would go for minimum 5 better 7, and this is a skill you mostly get free. For real PF it cost sometimes, but you also could avoid this extra sum in buying C with OD and rotating them in defence ;)

Its not neccessary unless your opponents power forwards shoots jump shots, but it would be nice to have a power forward with good outside defense. I just got finished training outside defense this week, and played a power forward out of position and he improved in outside defense, now his outside defense is respectable, not to mention his strong inside defense. It maybe not as important for gaurds and small forwards to have outside defense, but its always good to have an all around player, the more defense the better.
