Another disappointing season by the Ghana U21 National Team............quite a shame I must say myself, hopefully the players can overcome the coaches short comings.

It's always interesting to read these sudden screams.

This is Ghana path so far:
17/01/2011 21.00.00 40 Ghana U21 69 - 101 (Replay) 8 Belgium U21 Argentina
24/01/2011 21.00.00 40 Ghana U21 63 - 93 (Replay) 25 Canada U21 Argentina
31/01/2011 21.00.00 32 Taiwan U21 86 - 65 (Replay) 42 Ghana U21 Argentina
07/02/2011 21.00.00 15 Ceska Rep. U21 81 - 37 (Replay) 43 Ghana U21 Ghana
15/02/2011 0.30.00 44 Ghana U21 81 - 49 (Replay) 94 Barbados U21 Barbados

Ghana is #42 in the world, best ever, and highly overrated (as "my" SouthAfrica). Two months ago, there were 12 managers, equivalent to an incredibly small amount of potential decent players, nothing to do with any of other opponents, excluding Barbados. Two seasons ago I remember Ghana at #86. Cobra did a wonderful job, although it is impossible to match european and asian teams.

Look at opponents ranking. Look at opponents players salary and individual evaluation. Tell me what Cobra could do, apart of defeating Nigeria (who was almost dominant in Africa with previous coach), catching the third spot in African Cup after "my" SouthAfrica, that was leveraging several seasons of good scouting, and Misr, that is far larger than any other opponent in Africa.

So, as telling "you are badly performing" is easy: what exactly would you do better?

how you can say this??? we reached african tournament semifinals, we lost the world championships repechage (but it is out of our possibility) and we have good possibility to reached playoffs on consolation (again..I remember you that 2 season ago we are the best african team in consolation and we reached the possibility to play at home the african tournament)...in a nation with 5 active managers, are you sure to be able to do this?? if you are sure, at the end of this season there are the elections..see you there ;-)

What a shame, the Ghana team is under performing and the staff of the Ghana U21 team is full of excuses, oh how expected this is. Learn to man up, you have nobody to blame but yourselves for Ghana's falter, looks like Ghana will continue to be mis-managed, I can personally guarantee me and my "staff" would show up better results given the chance.

we don't give any excuses..we give results..at the beginning of our mandate, we are 86th on world ranking, now we are 42nd, and we reached 2 semifinals on african tournament and playoffs on a consolation...
if you are sure to make better than us, I repeat you, at the end of this season there are elections...I'm curious to hear your and your staff ideas about coaching better a nation with 5 active managers...in the meantime you can say me in what we are wrong...

No need to point out whats wrong just yet, that can wait for if I enter a candidacy. And I completely disagree, through all the threads i continuously see excuses made by the Ghana under 21 staff about how they won't be able to compete or have the necessary resources. I disagree on the progress, Ghana should be higher than it currently is, instead its lower than a rank it should be, and competing at a much lower level than where it should be playing.

ok...then show me the thread you're talking about!!!
we never find excuses for our seasonal targets..we are just realistic...BB is not the real life, where a little country (with 3 or 4 good drafting players at year) can have the dream to win the world championship..this is a browser game, with mathematical calculus, and if you think that ghana can beat Italy or USA or Spain, you are really crazy, because we need a year with at least 8 18yo perennial all stars (and this is impossible with a one only league draft, or if you have ever seen a thing like this??), and their have to be trained very very good...so, we can play the world tournament and try to win it...but this is not real life...seriusly, you joke or just you are newbie??

Oh yes because I most definetely think Ghana should be ranked #1, I clearly think Ghana should have the greatest players in buzzerbeater. Please, just because you face criticism don't bull shit your way out of the problem. To me, that shows quite a big weakness in the Ghana U21 NT Staff, when faced with problems they take the BS route.

The excuses are within your posts, this topic, and several other topics of this season & seasons past. But hey keep making up stuff that I so obviously believe in man!

It is useless to reply to this guy. Just let him shout and accuse. I'm not going to run for the third mandate, so he will have the chance to show his coach skills. Honestly I don't know who will candidate, I hope that the 5 only active managers in Ghana will team up and create a joint team to manage their U21. In that case I'll provide them all the data I have.

Anyway, isn't it curious that all of sudden Ghana's club popped from the usual 12-15 to the actual 26? Smells like double-triple accounts. I hope that nobody did this or bans will fly.

yeah, I have only now discovered that he played for only 2 seasons..It's really meaningless to reply him...I saw more and more like him in eleven season of playing, in Italy too...at elections we will see how he want to change the fate of Ghana :D
