If they are willing to gut their roster, which may mean losing Gallo and Chandler, they'd be left with a starting lineup of..
PG: Billups
SG: Fields
SF: Anthony
PF: Amare
C: Mozgov
Bench.
Nobody.
They should just wait till the offseason..

The Knicks are stoopid if they are going to gut their roster for Carmelo. But their owner nolan and his defacto isiah thomas are pretty dumb anyways so I wouldnt be suprised if they do make it happen.
the best way way forward for the knicks is to wait and get carmelo in the FA next season. Thats also the best way forward for carmelo too.. just play out this years contract and become a FA, but of course carmelo is only after the moolah and he will want to sign a big contract before the lockout. carmelo doesnt care about rings...

I think Nuggets would get fields as well, but if NJ Nets' offer is just too good to refuse if they do offer Favours + 4 first round as well as Harris, the fastest man with a basketball...

If Griffin ran up the front of the car and jumped off the roof of the car for the dunk that would have been epic.

yeh, they built it up that much which was great, but the end result was just terrible,
when you think bout it, the car was irrelevant, all 4 could've done that dunk, he may as well have just done a normal ally

Yeah, and Serge deserved a 50 for his FT line dunk. If he was a guard that would have won the comp.
Griffin couldn't really dunk any of the amazing ones he was attempting, had to revert to plan B most of the time.

i wasn't suggesting the Knicks are a chance for the title. Melo is only going there cos Lala his missus wants to move to NY. If he wants a title shot he should become a FA and then sign with a contender in the offseason. I think Boston would be mad not to make a play for him. Their stars are getting old and he would be a great piece to put next to Rondo for the next 8 yrs. Trouble is that Pierce still has a few years left and they play the same spot.
The Clips would be an ideal destination but they never get the big FA's so no doubt the power of the pussy will prevail and he will end up in NY be it via trade or in the offseason.

As long as Chicago don't do something stupid and make a play for him. Derrick Rose is the man, and the Nuggets would want Noah and that would set the Bulls back abit. Although we've been playing well without him
