With the prospect list out today, I have some questions as I prepare for my first draft (last season, I joined too late to even order my players). I am going to easily win my league -- it is all bots. That means I'll be drafting last.
My question is: what will be the BOT strategy in drafting? I am only investing in 3 scouting points a week, and already did the combine to see all the hights and ages. I am aiming to find 5 players that I'll be happy with -- is that about right? Or, do I need more since I will be drafting last?
Also, how accurate are the initial ratings? I scouted someone with a 5 (gray) ball rating and they received 2 orange balls. I am going to train big men next season, and there is a 7'3 18 year old PF who has a 2 gray ball rating. Is he worth scouting and interviewing?
Any other tips for drafting last in a bot league?
Thanks,
Mzungu
are you wanting 5 star talent or 5 players? you can only draft 3 players. The initial grey balls are pretty much useless. Bots are completely random when they draft. I would scout and then interview the ones who look promising 4 or 5 balls. You can do the combine which scouts all of the 1 and 2 (grey) ball at once it is 10 scouting points. You should get at least 1 decent player, but as the bots draft they will inevitably at some point pick some talent.
