I would believe my team has the most to do with turnout, but I was wondering if my opponent has any affect on attendance. Is is it based on the match up if 6-7 rank play, what will it draw compared to say 2-3 match?

I suspect there is a varient based on your opponent's ranking vs yours.

When my bro promoted last season, a lot of time his full house was written off as due to the fact he jus promoted. This MIGHT be true and I might be completely off tangent.

However I feel that it has to do with his team's rank being a lot lower than all the other teams in the league. Hence more people came to watch the games.

Now that his rank is more or less on par or higher, his attendance has dropped.

Thoughts?

the same by me. i promoted one league higher. and my attendance is about 1/4(about 50.000$) higher than the league average, altough i am the last in our league. and attendance will probably drop to average next season (i plan to obtain in the third league)

Its actually quite massive. Look at the attendance below. The first match was against 8th ranked team of other group. I won the last 3 matches before so my fans should be stable and supporting me.

The Banton Royals are the top team of other group and still havent lost a match.

Finally the 'roos they dont show up to matches as they will be a bot soon and only have 3 players left. My arena size changed in between but the percentage was roundabout 80% vs ALBA, 98% vs Royals and 75% vs 'roos

my conclusion is that the opponents team fans which are suppose to travel with them can make up to 20% of total spectators or casual fans are interested against Top teams of your group.
