Is the 5 ball star rating an A+, A or A-?
If its A+ I would almost always take the 5 ball star rating with 4 ball potential.

If its A- I'll probably take my chances and pick the 4 ball rating guy with 5 ball potential.

i do not know cause this is a hypothetical situation :P

i am just asking so i can get a good view if it turns out to be the case, which it has before

which would sell for more if i was to look at selling my pick?

Difficult to say because u don't know where exactly their skills will be but generally higher potential sells for more unless there is a big gap in skills.

i would go for the 4 star 5 Potential type, because potential have lot more value then few extra skills.

Even when you plan to keep it to yourself, you never know if u want to do it, and till he get 21 you get a lot of extra cash for his potential.(and if the skills don't fit, you could replace him easier for your trainee of your dreams)

actually for SFs, skills matters much more than potential...

but it is hard to see in advance if a player is good to be an SF, and it isn't equal there too.

no, that my last tie breaker when i even look at them - in the beginning i sometimes compare then with player who are most likely the same and the box scores was quite different(but we don't checked it after the draft)
