I think the "all-star week" is a waste of time, just a flavour thing.
It could be a nice idea the dunk contest but there are more important things to fix/introduce in this game ;-)

concur! Unless the winning teams/players get a small $$ bonus for winning games and events. Even if its only $1,000 that would make it more interesting!
