Three times per week, on the day following games, your PR-Manager conducts a survey of fans. The results are based on a small sample of fans, and may not accurately represent the feelings of all of your team's supporters.


a half ball up or down, isn't surprising. from 3,5 both directions are possible.

You could see the quoted text above the survey.

i almost know game manual by heart. it isn't just half ball it's a whole one. and a team that made a way to the finals (even if it doesn't affect me, cause i'm on the road) should never loose fan interest.

yeah, but when you have 3,5 and one time it is 3,24 -> "3" and next time 3,76 -> "4" it is still in the typical up and downs, of fans with the same intrest. And let the failure to be a big bigger then that, so such switched are unlikely but not uncommon.

And i am not so sure about the impact of the PO on this survey point, the main part is at least the regular season.

I agree with CE that the error margin is 0.5 ball.

And I believe the only criteria in 'I am pleased with the team's performance this season' is the W/L ratio in regular season. PO results don't change your real value for that question.

and this is the point why fan survey is a joke. if this will carry over for next season why should i be in a disadvantage because i made some mistakes in regular season, but finished being in finals?

and really open your eyes... how can this be true even if it is just 0.3 of worse survey, i made in to the finals, you can't lower your interest because of that... damn this is insane.

Your fans interest hasn't lowered, it'a misinterpretation of yours.

You know that you will sell out your next game, are you worrying about something that you know won't happen ? :)

If you win your league, you will have 5 balls all season long for your last season's results.

Don't complain too much about BB fans, real fans are worst.

Edit : and by the way, how is the general response to the survey, has it changed ?

no. actually i think this can happen. i really like this game and it's logical most of the times. but this fan survey is really disturbing. i do keep track of it and i've never seen something like this before.

If you win your league, you will have 5 balls all season long for your last season's results.


i could question that. if i get 3 balls for performance this season, when i'm in finals, how can i be sure i will get 5 balls all next season?

You will sell out, you wanna bet ? Attendance in PO takes into account your fans excitement for being there despite what the survey says.

You want to follow your survey too closely thinking it makes a huge difference and it's a common mistake IMHO.
Follow your attendance history and draw conclusions from that.

yes, but again, it's really unreal that you say "oh, my team was great considering all circumstances, they finished third, i give them 4 out of 5" and when a team ends up in finals, you say "ah, they are not that good as they appear, 3 out of 5 for them" :D it's a joke. really :D that's not normal, everyone would call you a madman.

you didn't ask the same fan, if you cook for 5 people and let then rate your meal you most likely get 5 different critics. maybe one say it was to hot, the other say i needed some extra spice. As it like there, some visitor say your team should mange to get the hc in the playoff, because they expected you to be a final team the other are more happy with the season.
