BB has a lot of endgame situations that couldn't possibly occur in the time available. It seems like anytime the defensive team gets the ball with time left, even a rebound with one second, they're entitled to a shot attempt in the frontcourt. (Unless they turn it over.) The game engine decision tree doesn't seem to have a branch for "couldn't get a shot off." Or even a three-quarter court shot -- as far as I remember, the last second shot is no further away than the halfcourt line.
