I think this example makes that conclusions are obvious.

This team sells "only" ~21,5k tickets (and still has free seats).
But he has tickets for $ 6.
Please note - $ 6 in first division. It is good price for 4th div or something like that.
I saw many teams (with similar arena proportion) where tickets cost $ 18+ and these teams sell over than 19k (or maybe even 20k) tickets. But in typical situation (under 15k) when You decrease prices by triple then number of sold ticket should be at least twice higher.
But in this case number of sold tickets is very similar, no matter whether tickets cost $ 6 or $ 18.
So it means we have artificial limit of selling and this limit is independent (or almost indepent) of price.

sorry dude..i still dont unterstand why ur example make Crazys question futile ?

his target was to figure out what he can do, or if its possible, to make..or better how high is the arena revenue mountain and what equipment did he need to reach the top

..that hes sellin more bleacher tickets if he decrease the price wasnt the point..the question is how can u balance bleachers and lower tier to get MAXIMUM revenue

if thats the task i still didnt think that ur example is very helpfull

:-)

it is neither of those question, the thing is in my case why are the sold tickets always the same.

1. We have a soft cap, so we don't get the same result once we are over a limit.

2. Opponents influence the numbers of visitor coming.

3. And also my survey was slightly different, druring the PO it is always different and my first league match was without the rival and tv survey points.

But how are 2 and 3 corresponding to 1, when the amount of visitors willing to pay 19 bucks never change. Is there an hardcap for each bleacher price, besides the softcap?(i know that more then my visitors are possible but i always get the same visitors night in and night out in different circumstances, and bleachers fluaktuate a lot normally)

1. Yes, there is a soft cap, but not in this sense. There is always a hard cap for every arena size - no matter how low you set the price, the attendance will never exceed this cap. For example, 20k size, max = 19.5k. In your case, 21.8k size, max = 20.16k. Arena size below ~19k-20k, max = arena size. This cap would increase as you expand your arena further. But it would be under 100% of arena size once its past ~19k-20k. In this sense, it is a soft cap. I still haven't found a formula to determine the hard cap for each arena size. More examples will help.

2. Not anymore because it's very likely that your prices are too low.

3. Same as 2.

You should fine-tune your prices so that your attendance is slightly under 20.16k. (assuming you don't expand your arena anymore)

that could be a valid theory but i doubt it, when they implemented the softcap we had to destruct our arenas depending on price experiemence where we had around 3-4 different prices to test. If the decreasing alone impact the result this would have been a mean test when you debuild(and some got ~40 or 45k arenas) and you notice those extra 2-4k ain't coming anymore.

You can try it out if you don't believe it: Expand your arena a bit (100-200) and you will see your attendance hit above 20.16k when you are in the playoff or your face d1 opponents in the cup. (assuming you don't charge too much)

i have a bit of a theory about this.

You will notice that your Lower Tier, Courtside and Luxury boxes are always full.

Maybe, in order for more people to come in on the Bleachers, you need more space in other levels?

like, maybe there is a formula that says 'For every 100 people more on the bleachers, you need 10 free on Lower Tier.

You could try it out by just expanding your lower tier by 20 seats or so.
I have absolutely no proof that this is the case, im just thinking it might be a relatively easy thing to implement and see what happens :)

Interesting thing though! It almost looks like a bug..... let us know how it goes!

i most likely i end up under the cap with the price change, because i know for sure that i waste money with it. I underestimated the championship bonus to make the "actual test", but my franchise is more important for me then the since.

A main theory was also that people always went to the most expensive seats they could afford, so i believe when i build 10 extra courtside seats i expect them more to be sold and give me 10 less visitors on bleacher. If it don't act like that, it would be a sign that the cap act via income instead of visitors(or that my courtside seats price was perfect).

And yes something i believe also that it is a bug^^

my price change get 4 visitors out of my arena, with a different of one Dollar for the bleacher that isn't much. But at least i get around 30.000$ more.
